Creating imaginative places and spaces.
Studio W specializes in creating imaginative interiors for our clients' businesses and homes. Debra Warner began Studio W--New Orleans in 2013 after working many years with interior designers, architectural firms, real estate developers, and teaching at various universities and design schools. Good design is our passion.
All projects, no matter the size, deserve a high standard of design excellence.
We design out of our New Orleans studio and are inspired by our city. New Orleans feeds our creativity through its historic architecture, dramatic interior spaces, lush green landscapes, colorful homes, vibrant streetscapes and urban planning principles at work in our distinct neighborhoods. We are inspired here but work on projects everywhere!

Our clients are our priority.
Our clients are our priority. We enjoy a collaborative design process and dedicate time to understanding our clients’ needs and objectives before we begin design work. Our projects begin with a strong design concept that forms the basis of a solution tailored to meet our clients’ parameters.
We take an architectonic approach to designing interior space by considering design from a volumetric and planning perspective. On all of our projects we apply our in-depth knowledge of finish materials, detailing, color, lighting, furnishings and decorative components to produce a holistic and cohesive design.
Commercial Design Approach
In our commercial work, we design spaces that reflect our clients' brand, values and business objectives. Whether the goal is to improve the quality of the work place, to increase the public awareness of the brand, to generate foot traffic or to boost revenue, we design to meet these outcomes.
Residential Design Approach
In our residential work, we create imaginative spaces that reflect our clients' needs, lifestyle and budget. We customize our approach for each client. Some clients know what they want and hire us to refine their ideas. Others hire us to provide design direction to their home and to help shape their personal style.
“It is great fun and a privilege to work with my clients to create spaces that reflect their brand, values and vision. Well designed spaces at work and at home result in greater well being and happiness. We enjoy doing our part.”
Our expertise is broad and our experience diverse. Our dossier includes both commercial and residential interiors, from new construction to renovation and remodeling. We design and manage projects of all sizes but also love to concentrate on small design details.

We love everything about design but are especially interested in color. We enjoy collecting images of color — inspiring color palettes, unexpected color uses, color schemes as they develop on our projects, color in fashion, color in art, colors in nature — anything that encourages creative thought. We post these images and thoughts on our blog — The Color Journal. Explore the world of color with us and see if what inspired us might inspire you!
